History

As part of the replacement of the Boeing 767-300ER fleet and to maintain equivalent Trans-Atlantic service, Air Canada acquired 4 ex-TAP Air Portugal (exx-Singapore Airlines) A330-300s in 2019. Due to the fleet modernization plans for the entire A330-300 fleet in late 2019, aircraft in this series will receive an updated interior upon delivery and will maintain the original Singapore Airlines interior theme until the modernization program takes effect.

To maintain brand consistency, Air Canada is not advertising business class for flights operated by these aircraft as the Singapore Airlines business class does not correspond with the Signature Service provided on other wide-body aircraft. Instead, business class will be sold as Premium Economy until the aircraft interiors are updated. [1]
