History

The A330-300 fleet along with A330-200s were purchased in 2006 as part of a fleet replacement program to replace Aeroflot's Boeing 767-300ERs, with delivery in 2009-2012. The arrival of the A350-900 prompted the start of the A330-300 retirement.[1]
