Route Details
Route 66 mainly served southwestern Newmarket between Newmarket GO Bus Terminal and the communities around Mulock Drive and Yonge Street.
Route 66 originally interlined with route 44 at commencement of YRT services, and was shown on the same map routing, but was separated into it's own route as of 2002.

History
Newmarket Transit originally operated the combined routes 44 and 66. Route 44/66 "Upper Canada Mall-Bristol-London" operated the section north of Davis Drive and route 66/44 "Glenway-Summerhill" operated the section south of Davis Drive.
- May 12, 2002 - Route 66 is split from route 44. Route 44 is named "Bristol-London" and route 66 is named "Glenway-Summerhill".
- September 4, 2005 - Route 66 is discontinued, with similar service provided on route 57A.
