Route 33 serves Wellington Street between Murray Drive and Leslie Street, and Leslie Street between Wellington Street East and Davis Drive.
This route serves the Aurora Village, Bayview Wellington, and Bayview Northeast communities. It also serves Aurora High School, St Maximillian Kolbe Catholic High School, Aurora GO Station, Aurora Town Hall, Aurora Real Canadian Superstore, Stronach Aurora Recreation Complex, 404 Town Centre, and Davis Drive & Highway 404 Park & Ride.
Route 33 connects to Viva Blue at Yonge Street, and to Viva Yellow at Leslie and Davis Drive & Highway 404 Park & Ride.

History
- June 5, 2006 - Service introduced as 33 Wellington. It supplemented service along Wellington Street and extended it east of Bayview (where route 32 turned south to loop around Stone Road) and up Leslie Street to loop along the new State Farm Way.
- January 21, 2008 - Route is modified in the east to serve the Walmart at Wellington Street East and Highway 404. Buses operate to State Farm Way and continue south on First Commerce Drive to Wellington Street East.
- January 27, 2008 - A new 33A branch is introduced, which replaced the eastern looping of route 31. Additional service on Saturday was also implemented. Route 31 was cut back to end at Aurora GO Station, with service reduced to rush-hours only.
- December 20, 2009 - One morning and one afternoon weekday trip on branch 33A will divert via St. John's Sideroad and Gateway Drive to serve students in the neighbourhood travelling to Aurora High School.
- September 2011 - Service was modified to use Mary Street to access Aurora GO Station.
- December 2012 - Routes 33 and 33A were declared fully accessible.
- June 30, 2013 - As proposed in the 2013 Annual Service Plan, route 33A is restructured to operate clockwise via John West Way, Hollidge Boulevard, Hollandview Trail, McMaster Avenue, Earl Stewart Drive, Gateway Drive, St. John’s Sideroad, and Mavrinac Boulevard. Service on Borealis Drive, Conover Avenue, Pedersen Drive, and Bayview Avenue is discontinued.
- June 29, 2014 - Limited service was introduced on route 33 to the York Regional Police Central Services Building and Headquarters. Two trips a day divert along Don Hillock Drive looping within the parking lot.
- January 4, 2015 - Route is revised for the limited service to the York Regional Police Headquarters on Don Hillock Drive due to ongoing construction in the area. Buses pass the police building on Don Hillock Drive then continue south on Goulding Avenue, and east on Eric T. Smith Way before turning around at the cul-de-sac and following the reverse routing back to Leslie Street.
- September 4, 2016 - Rush hour service was extended to the Aurora Rd. & Hwy. 404 carpool lot.
- May 1, 2022 - Saturday service on the 33A branch is discontinued due to low demand and replaced with expanded service on MOR Aurora-Oak Ridges.
- April 30, 2023 - Route 33A is fully discontinued with service replaced by MOR Aurora-Oak Ridges.
- September 1, 2024 - Route is extended to Davis Drive & Highway 404 Park & Ride via Leslie Street. Route renamed to 33 Wellington-Leslie.
