Route 32 operates along Stone Road, Wellington Street, Murray Drive, and Henderson Drive.
This route serves the Aurora Highlands, Aurora Village, and Aurora Grove communities. It also serves Aurora Shopping Centre, Aurora High School, Sir Maximillian Kolbe Catholic High School, Aurora GO Station, and Aurora Town Hall.
Route 32 connects to Viva Blue at Yonge/Henderson and Yonge/Wellington.

History
Aurora Transit first operated a 'Aurora North' route. It was later taken over by Newmarket Transit, and the route was named A2 Aurora Centre Plaza.
- September 4, 2001 - A2 was taken over by York Region Transit during the merging in January 2001 and on this date, the route was renumbered and renamed to 32 Aurora South. It had a much different route and was more north-south orientated than the current east-west operation.
- September 3, 2002 - Route is extended west along 15th Sideroad to serve the Seneca College King Campus on weekdays and Saturdays.
- September 4, 2005 - With the looming introduction of Viva Blue and route 33, YRT rerouted both Aurora routes to operate primarily along Wellington Street. This rerouting also allowed the replacement of the Aurora GO Shuttles, routes 220 and 221. Route 32 is modified to operate two-way service along Wellington Street between Bathurst Street and Bayview Avenue now looping in the east via Stone Road. Service is also changed to operate on Murray Street, which was previously served by route 31.
- April 25, 2010 - Dial-a-Ride was implemented on this route for weekday midday and evening runs, and Saturday runs.
- September 5, 2010 - New service is provided to Cardinal Carter High School on school trips. Buses will divert east along Bloomington Road West to Academy Drive where it loops within the school property. Weekday midday service is converted from Dial-a-Ride back to conventional service. Dial-a-Ride service continues to operate on weekday evenings and on Saturdays.
- July 3, 2011 - Route is revised in both directions for buses serving Aurora GO Station. Buses entering the station use Industrial Parkway South then leave the station via Mary Street.
- September 2011 - Service is added along Industrial Parkway to serve the food bank on Dial-a-Ride trips only.
- December 2012 - Route 32 was declared fully accessible.
- 2014 - The 2014 Annual Service Plan has the 7:09pm southbound trip discontinued.
- November 1, 2015 - The limited morning school trip serving Cardinal Carter Catholic High School will no longer loop within the school property. Instead, the trip will serve the school at the on-street stop at Academy Drive, then loop via east on Bloomington Road, south on Yonge Street, west on Coons Road, north on Bloomfield Trail, and west on Bloomington Road towards Seneca College King Campus. Dial-a-Ride service during weekday evenings and Saturdays is revised to serve all YRT/VIVA stops within a boundary instead of only along this route.
- December 2017 - The route was changed with an additional southern loop during limited AM service, with service to Coons Road and Bloomfield Trail via Yonge Street after servicing Cardinal Carter High School. Service via Industrial Parkway South was also discontinued.
- June 28, 2020 - Route is reduced to operate during rush hours only with weekday midday service replaced with MOR Aurora-Oak Ridges. Service will operate between Bathurst Street and Stone Road only.
- January 3, 2021 - Service into Aurora GO Station is cancelled, with service operating on-street along Wellington Street.
