History
- April 27, 2008 - Route 28 begins operations due to increasing demand from the growing commercial areas located in the Highway 27 and Highway 7 area including the newly developed "Vaughan Enterprise Zone". Buses operate every 30 minutes during weekday rush hours only.
- September 4, 2011 - Due to the discontinuation of route 27, an additional diversion to serve the industrial park southwest of Highway 7 and Highway 27 is introduced.
- December 2012 - Route 28 was declared fully accessible.
- June 30, 2013 - Route is renamed from "Zenway-Highway 27" to "Zenway".
- February 23, 2014 - Due to low ridership during PM rush hour, all PM rush hour trips were converted to Dial-a-Ride. However, Dial-a-Ride was discontinued on June 29, 2014 when route 28 was extended north from Zenway to Rutherford. Also, the route was renamed "Huntington".
- June 26, 2016 - Route is extended into East Brampton operating along Cottrelle Boulevard, The Gore Road, Castle Oaks Crossing, Clarkway Avenue, and Castlemore Road. However, due to low ridership, service is reduced to weekday rush hours only
- April 5, 2020 - Due to 2019-2022 budget reductions, route 28 had been proposed to be discontinued in January 2020 due to low ridership. On this date, the route was permanently discontinued at the beginning of the COVID pandemic outbreak service reductions.
