History

E-Z Rider II BRT #1068 on route 244.

• June 30, 2008 - Route 244 began operations. It replaced the former routing of route 85A, however routes 25D and 85B still existed with the same routing and therefore provided service approximately every 10 minutes during rush hour around the Beaver Creek Business Park.

• September 5, 2009 - Due to low ridership Saturday service was eliminated.

• February 14, 2010 - Route 244 was eliminated on February 14, 2010.

• July 2013 - The 2013 Annual Service Plan restored route 244, as route 85B was discontinued due to a restructuring of the Rutherford/16th Ave corridor.

• January 6, 2017 - Due to low ridership, the route was discontinued.
