St. Robert Catholic High School is a catholic secondary school located at 8101 Leslie St., south of Highway 407, in Thornhill, ON. It is directly served by 4 routes (2 of them school specials).

Since St. Robert is home to the International Baccalaureate program, the school attracts students from outside the school boundary, in addition to students within the school boundary.

Routing Details

AM: This route follows the same routing as route 3 from Simonston Blvd. to John St., then continues via John St. and Bayview Ave. to serve Thornlea Secondary School. It then follows the same routing as route 3 to Leslie St., continuing north to the school.
PM: Reverse routing.

History

St Robert was one of the first high schools to have a school special, introduced in September 2003. Originally unnumbered, it operated on two branches: One via the current route 3 west to Bayview/John, the other south on Leslie St. to Steeles Ave. In September 2004, it was assigned the number 403. In September 2005, School Special 1 was renumbered to 413, while School Special 2 was renumbered to 414.

Route 413 was extended from Bayview/John to Leslie/Steeles for the 2008 school season via John St., Leslie St., and Simonston Blvd., where it remains relatively the same today.

History

St Robert was one of the first high schools to have a school special, introduced in September 2003. In September 2005 School Special 1 was renumbered to 413, while School Special 2 was renumbered to 414.

Route 414 was eliminated for the 2006 school season due to low ridership and duplication with regular transit service.

History

Route 445 started service on May 9, 2004 due to demand in the Richmond Hill area for the International Baccalaureate program. It originally operated during both AM and PM between Richmond Hill GO Station and the school, following the same routing as today.

Route 445 was extended north from Richmond Hill GO Station to Bernard Terminal around 2011-2012.
