York Region Transit 522-525

York Region Transit 522-525 were 1989 Orion I (01.508) buses. They were originally delivered to Vaughan Transit, and were acquired by YRT during amalgamation in 2001.

522-525 could be found on many 40ft routes in Vaughan, including 3 Thornhill, 4 Major Mackenzie, 10 Woodbridge, 20 Jane and 23 Thornhill Woods. All the 40' units were regularly found on the joint BT-YRT 77 Highway 7 for years after the YRT amalgamation.

522-525 were retired in 2009, and were replaced by the 901-945 series
