West Vancouver Municipal Transit 981 was a Nova Bus LFS bus built in 1998.

981 was formerly with Coast Mountain Bus Company numbered 7298. It joined the West Vancouver fleet in November 2002 and was repainted into the Blue Bus livery. This unit was also the only first-generation Nova Bus LFS in the entire TransLink fleet and it also remained as the only Nova Bus LFS unit in service until the delivery of the 2007 Nova Bus LFS units (both in West Vancouver and CMBC).

Due to structural issues and the cost needed to retrofit the bus for Compass Card equipment, 981 was withdrawn from service in August 2013 and was sold to Prince Albert Transit after some time in storage.
