Welland Transit 1153 was a 1992 Orion 05.501 bus. It was originally delivered to St. Catharines Transit, and was purchased used in December 2011.
Welland had originally numbered it as 1152, but because they had another bus numbered 1152 on order, the Orion was renumbered to 1153 in March 2012. It was given an LED destination sign and wrapped in the Welland Transit livery.
