Trent University Symons Campus
Trent University is a public liberal arts university based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The Symons Campus is the university's main campus, and is located at 1600 West Bank Drive in the northern part of Peterborough. The campus is seperated into two sections (refered to as 'banks') by the Otonabee River. Pedestrian access between the two sides of campus is provided by the Faryon Bridge, which spans over the Otonabee River.
Peterborough Transit and GO Transit both provide transit service to the Symons Campus. While Peterborough Transit provides service to several buildings on both sides of campus, GO Transit only serves Peter Gzowski College on the east bank of campus.
Routes Served
West Bank
On the west bank of campus, Peterborough Transit buses run on West Bank Drive, with stops in both directions at Blackburn Hall, the Trent Athletic Centre, and the Thomas J. Bata Library. The Thomas J. Bata Library is used as the terminus point for routes that serve this side of campus. In June when student convocation ceremonies occur, buses are only able to serve Blackburn Hall, and loop in front of the building using it as a terminus point.

East Bank
Routing on the east bank of campus for Peterborough Transit buses is a one-directional loop, with buses initially running on Nassau Mills Rd, then running on East Bank Drive, then Gzowski Way looping in front of Peter Gzowski College, followed by East Bank Drive again, then Pioneer Road back to Nassau Mills Road. Stops on this side of campus are located outside the Wenjack Theatre, Otonabee College, Peter Gzowski College, and Mackenzie House. Peter Gzowski College is used as a terminus point for buses that serve the east bank.
