Transit Windsor 601-606 were 1980 model Grumman Flxible 870 (40102-6) buses built in 1981. They were originally delivered to Santa Clara County Transit District (SCCTD), and were acquired on long-term lease from National Refurbishing.

601-606 were part of a group of Grumman Flxible buses acquired used by National Refurbishing in the mid-1990s. These units were leased from December 1995 until March 1999, due to a fleet shortage. Following their lease, they were returned to National Refurbishing, where they were leased or sold to other companies, including Caledon Transit and Vaughan Transit.
