Toronto Transit Commission 9706 was a Orion 02.501 bus. It was built in 1992 for Long Beach Transit as unit 112. It went on to St. Catharines Transit in 2002 as 33, serving in their paratransit fleet until it was retired by 2006. It was acquired by the TTC in 2007 as a spare unit for their Community Bus fleet, and features just a red stripe unlike the other Orion IIs, 9700-9705.

9706 was used exclusively on the TTC's Community Bus routes, 400 Lawrence Manor, 402 Parkdale, 403 South Don Mills, 404 East York and 405 Etobicoke. 9706 was retired in October 2012 and was replaced by Friendly Buses modified for Community Bus service. 9706 was sold to Autobus Laval in 2012 and numbered 707.
