Thiessen Transportation, was a bus company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba that provided scheduled line-haul and charter services.

History

Abraham J. Thiessen established Thiessen Transportation in 1945 providing daily bus service on routes from Winnipeg to Morris & Winkler, and to Altona & Gretna. In 1951 Thiessen acquired Interlake Bus Lines and White Ribbon Bus Lines in 1959. In 1961, he bought Grey Goose Bus Lines which had an extensive network of routes across southern Manitoba.

Thiessen Transportation, known later as Thiessen Bus Lines, were absorbed into Grey Goose Bus Lines.
