The Starcraft Bus Guardian is a type-C school bus built on a Hino Trucks 338 chassis. The body used a welded galvanized steel cage design with fibreglass endcaps, galvanized steel side panels, and steel roof. An option for a fibreglass roof was available.

Between 2008 and 2009 Starcraft negotiated with Hino to supply the chassis. The prototype vehicle was unveiled in October 2010, with production and sales scheduled to start in early 2011. However, the bus never reached production.
