Route Description
From Downtown Squamish, buses operate north via east on Cleveland Avenue, north on Highway 99, west on Industrial Way, north on Discovery Way, east on Commercial Way, north on Highway 99, east on Mamquam Road, north on Diamond Head Road, west on Garibaldi Way, north on Highway 99, and south on Tantalus Road to Garibaldi Way, then following the reverse routing back to Downtown Squamish.
History
- October 15, 2013: Route introduced as 4 Tantalus, operating from Tantalus neighbourhood and Highlands Mall to Downtown Squamish.[1]
- September 4, 2018: Route renamed to 4 Garibaldi; rerouted onto Highway 99 between Downtown Squamish and Garibaldi Village in order to provide express service during peak hours.[2]
- September 3, 2019: Diversion from Highway 99 onto Discovery Way added to serve Walmart.[3]
