'''Optima BusCorporation ''' was a manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses based in Wichita, Kansas, USA. It was established in 1998 after [[Chance Coach]] was sold to American Capital Strategies . They rebranded to company Optima in 2003.

On August 21, 2006, American Capital sold Optima to [[North American Bus Industries]](NABI). Almost a year later, which they announced that the Kansas assembly plant would be closed on August 8, 2007. Production was moved to NABI's Alabama facility. In 2009, production of Optima products was idled and never resumed. The Optima is now a brand of [[North American Bus Industries, Inc.]]was discontinued.
