Société de transport de Montréal 31-801 to 31-862
Société de transport de Montréal 31-801 to 31-862 are Nova Bus LFS Artic buses built in 2011. The buses began delivery in March 2011. This order is part of a large contract between the ATUQ and Nova Bus signed in 2007. The contract was for 322 buses for nine Quebec agencies with delivery from 2009 to 2012.[1]
The buses feature the blue, white, and yellow livery with two large overlapping chevrons near the rear on either side. One chevron is blue and the other is yellow and where they overlap is green. The buses have full-length side displays and digital run boxes. They have a wide front door with a wheelchair ramp located at the front door. All buses of this series are upholstered in Holdsworth Fabrics' FAH737 "lagoon" moquette. These buses are equipped with interior CCTV cameras.
On October 27, 2010, the STM announced that they will be testing buses with air conditioning in the summer of 2011. Eight 40 foot buses were announced to be tested and would have different specifications for evaluation. In addition, two 60 foot buses would be equipped with air conditioning.[2]
