Sioux Area Metro provides transit service to the city of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The system was formerly known as Sioux Falls Transit until it was renamed in 2009.

Routes

As of Februrary 2020, Sioux Area Metro operates a system of 12 routes from a transit terminal located in downtown Sioux Falls.

  • 8 - North 4th Ave, North Cliff Ave
  • 9 - East 18th St, East 26th St

  • 11 - Southwest Circulator

    • 9714 & 9703 were bought by Stellar Limousine and converted into party buses in 2012.[2][3] 9703 was listed on ebay for sale in July 2017.[4]
    • 9708 was bought by Lund Truck Parts. In early 2016, it was sold to a private owner who shipped it to Ethiopia.[5]
    • 9716 was spotted in the Customs Warehouse public auction in the Republic of Kenya in May 2017.[6]
  • 9706 was auctioned off at an unknown time and bought by Fort Pierre Motors Inc. of Fort Pierre, SD.[7]
