Shriners Care Cruiser Program

The Shriners Care Cruisers provide transportation at no cost for children with burns, orthopedic issues and spinal-cord injuries to Shriners Hospitals in Portland and Spokane as well as patients to and from Sunny Hill and BC Children's Hospital. The cruisers also transport pregnant women to the hospital.

History

  • Established in 2001 as a Private Carrier to transport physically challenged children and their parents to the Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland, Oregon, for treatment. This program has now been expanded to the entire province of BC and the Yukon.
