Selkirk Transit is the public transit system in the city of Selkirk, Manitoba. On August 23, 2010, the provincial government granted funding to the city to start the transit system. A tender was later put out for two city buses as well. The system is operated by area operator Selkirk & District Handibus.[1]

An early projection for the start of service was January 2011[1], but a date was later set for April 1. A delay with the acquisition of the buses pushed back the date to May 30. Service was free on the first day of service.
