San Francisco MUNI 6401-6424

San Francisco MUNI 6401-6424 were 2002 Neoplan USA AN460 buses. They were purchased to replace 9101-9124. They were delivered with MUNI's Gray & Red livery with non-reflective decals and without the red skirt . Their paint was revised by early 2003. All units became reserve fleet and operated out of Islais Creek, starting in late 2015.

It made an appearance at Burning Man in summer 2018. It later moved to Joshua Tree, CA in late 2018. It returned to the SF Bay Area at Treasure Island in April 2020. It moved to Chico, CA by 2021. It was listed on Facebook Marketplace in Oakland, CA on 7/19/2022. Sold to a private owner who was part of a Burning Man art car crew in July 2022. They used the bus for housing while building another bus.
