San Diego Metropolitan Transit System 1101-1150 were 1993 New Flyer D60 buses. They were delivered to replace all 1978 MAN-AMG articulated buses.[1] Each unit from this series costed $341,174.63. All units were originally powered by Detroit Diesel 6V92TA/Allison HTB-748 powertrains and most of them were repowered with Detroit Diesel Series 50 EGR/Allison B500R powertrains circa 2000-2001.
