History
For RTA's 15th anniversary, they ordered twenty new buses, separated into two batches, delivered three months apart (March-June 1992); the first one consisted of five 1991 models, while the rest were 1992 models. These were the last buses originally painted in the old 1980s blue-stripe paint scheme and also the last GM-based transit vehicles made for the agency, as they would turn to Flxible for the next order, 9301-9317. In the following year, 9220 would be the first repainted in the updated red and blue livery, with all other units from this series and the earlier 1987-1990 GMC/TMC RTS buses receiving it later on. The buses were built without bike racks; however, sometime midway through their service lives up until retirement, they were retrofitted with it.
They were most likely replaced by the second order of NABI CNG buses, 2201-2247.
