Ricon is a subsidiary of the Wabtec Corporation, and manufactures wheelchair lifts and its components for transit buses.
History
In operation since 1971, Ricon designs and manufactures wheelchair lifts and ramps for commercial, para-transit, transit, motor-coach and passenger rail vehicles. Ricon is also a supplier of graffiti-fighting transit windows. Operating from a modern facility in Los Angeles, Ricon Corp. is the largest manufacturer of its kind in the world.
The Ricon global commercial dealer network assures customers deal locally with people they know and trust. Virtually all Ricon dealerships are independent and locally owned. Ricon dealers provide customer service and support in more than 30 countries worldwide.[1]

- 621SA Foldover Ramp: Fully electric, 1:6 slope, foldover passenger access ramp for low floor, transit buses. New, cam-based design allows ramp to automatically adjust to bus stop conditions to provide least possible, continuous slope. Rugged stainless steel enclosure - 1,000 lb. capacity.
