The current routing of Route 84

Route 84 is a local route that serves the Lincoln Fields and Centrepointe areas. Route operates mostly in peak periods in both directions, with limited trips in the mid-day and evening and no weekend service. Morning peak period trips that continue from Baseline Station to downtown become route 91 at Baseline Station.

History

April 23rd, 2017

  • Route 178 is renumbered to new local Route 84 in preparations for the launch of the O-Train Confederation Line in 2018.

October 6th, 2019

  • Will be extended to Tunney’s Pasture Station.

March 30th, 2020

  • Due to low ridership from the COVID-19 outbreak, Route 84 will be cancelled until further notice. Alternative service is available on Route 88 along Baseline and with multiple Routes along Woodroffe and Baseline.
