The routing of route 84

Route 84 was a regular route that ran from Hurdman to/Greenboro with peak period trips extending to/from Lebreton. Service operated 7 days a week with peak period downtown extensions occuring Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak).

History

September 1st, 2002

  • New route which combines Routes 144 and 145. Service runs 7 days a week and extends to and from downtown during peak periods, Monday - Friday.

January 2nd, 2005

  • Will become part of the accessible route network. Most weekend trips will be fully-accessible, but on weekdays accessible trips will vary from about 30-60% coverage.

June 26th, 2005

  • Route is renumbered.
  • "X" designation will no longer be used in the Route. All eastbound trips will either display "E84 Ottawa South VIA Karsh and Esson" for buses travelling via Karsh and Esson, or "C84 Hurdman VIA Conroy" for buses travelling via Conroy.
