Route 69 was a bus route operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Route Details
Route 69 was an express route that ran from Bells Corners to Downtown. Service operated Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak). In the AM peak, there was no boarding allowed from Queensway Station to Westboro Station, after which regular fare was charged.
History
April 25th, 2000
- Will get off the Queensway at Greenbank on request during morning rush hour, then continue their regular routing along the eastbound Queensway.
September 2nd, 2007
- Will be shortened to start at the corner of Robertson Road and Westcliffe. Customers boarding on Moodie will have a faster trip on Route 66.
September 6th, 2009
- Route is rerouted to serve the new Pinecrest and Bayshore Stations in the PM only. AM trips continue to use Hwy. 417.
April 17th, 2011
- No boarding from Queensway Station to Westboro Station is allowed.
September 1st, 2013
- Busy trips/runs now being assigned articulated and Double Decker buses.
June 28th, 2015
- Morning trips end at Hurdman Station.
- Afternoon trips start at Campus Station.
December 20th, 2015
- Morning trips end at Mackenzie King Station.
- Afternoon trips start at Campus Station.
April 24th, 2016
- No service to Laurier or Campus Stations.
December 25th, 2016
- Route is renumbered to Connexion Route 252 in preparations for the launch of the O-Train Confederation Line in 2018.
