Route Details
Route 236 is a Connexion route that runs from Sothern Orléans to Blair Station. Service operates Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak).
History
December 24th, 2017
- New Connexion route that will replace Route 235 south of Innes and a portion of Route 136 on Tenth Line, as Route 136 is being discontinued.
- To downtown in the morning, returning home (destination Esprit) in the afternoon.
October 6th, 2019
- Will end at Blair Station. Service to downtown will be replaced by O-Train Line 1.
March 30th, 2020
- Due to low ridership from the COVID-19 outbreak, Route 236 will be cancelled until further notice.
- Alternative service is available on Route 35.
June 28th, 2020
- Route is reinstated as apart of OC Transpo's Recovery plan.
August 30th, 2020
- Some trips will be temporarily suspended to reflect reduced ridership.
December 30th, 2020
- Some routes will continue to operate with reduced frequency due to lower ridership during the pandemic.
- Trips on weekdays are adjusted on these routes.
