The routing of Route 224

Route 224 was a peak period connexion route that operated from Beacon Hill (Laverendrye & Oglvie) to Blair. Service operates Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak).

History

December 25th, 2016

  • Route 24 is renumbered to new Connexion Route 224 in preparations for the launch of the O-Train Confederation Line in 2018.

October 6th, 2019

  • Will end at Blair Station. Service to downtown will be replaced by O-Train Line 1.

March 30th, 2020

  • Due to low ridership from the COVID-19 outbreak, Route 224 will be cancelled until further notice.
  • Alternative service is available on Route 24.

June 28th, 2020

  • Route is reinstated as apart of OC Transpo's Recovery plan.

June 20th, 2021

  • Due to low ridership, Route 224 will be cancelled until further notice.
  • Alternative service is available on Route 24.
