Olympia Trails
Olympia Trails is a bus operator serving northern New Jersey with local and commuter bus service operated under the Coach USA brand.[1]
Services
Olympia Trails
Under this brand, two routes are operated:
- Newark Liberty Airport Express, operated between midtown Manhattan and Newark Liberty International Airport at 15 minute intervals throughout the day. This old route was acquired from New Jersey Transit in 1997, previously numbered 300.
- Westfield Commuter Service, a commuter service operating between eastern Plainfield and midtown Manhattan via Route 28 with two peak-direction trips.
Orange Newark Elizabeth Bus
Orange Newark Elizabeth Bus, shortened to ONE Bus, and also operating the #31 under Independent Bus, provides service on three routes centered around Essex County, New Jersey, providing local bus service. Later they began operating the 24, and 44. Beginning on June 27, 2021, they assumed several routes (2, 10, 22, 23, 88, 119) formerly operated by Academy Bus Lines subsidiary company 22 Hillside.[3] In June 2022, several routes operated by ONE Bus (e.g. 10, 22, and 119) were transferred to NJT operations while some routes (e.g. the 84) operated by NJT were transferred to ONE Bus.[4]
On September 9, 2023, Coach USA announced they would be eliminating all Route 24, 31, and 44 service effective October 8, 2023.[5][6] This came after Coach USA announced they will be cutting all service past 8:00 pm and all Sunday service in July 2023.[7] ONE Bus was the third private operator in New Jersey to announce a discontinuation of service in 2023 after DeCamp Bus Lines in March, and Montgomery & Westside IBOA in July. On September 29, 2023, NJ Transit announced routes 24, 31, and 44 would be transferred to NJ Transit effective October 9, 2023.[8]
After Coach USA filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection on June 11, 2024, Coach USA announced they will stop operating NJ Transit routes 2, 84, and 88.[9] They were returned to NJ Transit on August 17, 2024.

Routes 4 and 99S were eliminated on November 6, 2011, with both routes being taken over by Montgomery & Westside IBOA (Route 4) and Academy Bus Lines (Route 99S; renamed to Route 119) respectively. Route 10 was also taken over by Academy Bus Lines on April 8, 2012. Route 99 is now New Jersey Transit Route 6 after being taken over in 2008.
