Oakville VIA Station is a GO Transit/VIA Rail train station located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The station is situated at Mile 21.4 along Canadian National Railway's Oakville Subdivision.[1]
Station description
VIA Rail has its own separate building at this station, however, use of the station is shared with GO Transit, which provides regional transit services within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. The station building is wheelchair accessible and the ticket counter is manned seven days a week from 9am to 10pm. The station has washrooms and there is extremely limited parking space available for customers.
Service
Oakville Station is served by the Maple Leaf, a joint service between Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada, and the Windsor-Toronto line.
The station building for GO Transit and the bus terminal used to connect with Oakville Transit and GO Transit bus services is located just northeast of the station building.
