The New Flyer Industries D35LFR is a restyled version of the D35LF model. It features a curved front end, as well as a smoother rear end with recessed taillights. The majority of the bus remains the same as the D35LF. The launch customer of the D35LFR was Fairfax Connector.
The model was discontinued in 2013 in favor of the New Flyer Industries XD35.
