Montebello Bus Lines 8846-8851 were 1986 model GMC RTS-06 (T8J-206) buses built in 1987.

History

They were initially delivered in May 1987, putting the approximate build date to be in late winter-early spring 1987. All units were originally built with Detroit Diesel 6V92TA engines and rollsigns; by late 1992, they received Luminator Matrix:MAX destination signs alongside the blue and pink livery. The buses were later overhauled circa 2000-2001. The entire series was eventually replaced with the 2008 New Flyer GE40LFR buses.
