Route 110 University is a MiExpress MiWay route. Limited stop service is provided seven days a week. Buses on the route use the bus bypass shoulder on Highway 403 when traffic is heavy. The route is partially subsidized by the university, whose students receive transit U-Passes included with their tuition. Regular fares apply. 40' buses are used on weekends or after the semester ends as the demand is significantly lower.

Beginning December 3, 2007, the frequency in weekday peak periods improved from 15 to 13 minutes, as a result of removing the long layover at South Common. No extra buses were required to facilitate the improvement.
Initially, the route was serviced primarily by Orion VIs, however UTM students, for whom the route was intended, complained about the lack of capacity, and buses with higher capacities began to be used exclusively.
Prior to 2010 regular buses used to serve this route until blue MiExpress buses started to service this route. The following is a list of former buses that used to serve this route: Orion V (Retired) New Flyer D40LF D40LFR D60LF
