Mississauga City Centre Transit Terminal is the main transit hub for MiWay buses. It was officially opened in November 1997. It is located in the heart of Mississauga, right behind Square One Shopping Centre. Approximately 400,000 passengers travel through the terminal everyday. On the upper level of the terminal, the ticket booth, information booth, electronic signs as well as all buses are on that level. On the lower level there is a public washroom, and an exit to the mall which is across from the street.

History
The terminal was built to handle the increased amount of passengers at the old loop in front of the Main entrance of the Square One mall and Walmart. The terminal was opened in November of 1997. The total cost of the project to build the terminal and the platforms cost $6.5 million. When first built, the terminal was a "U" shape with approximately 8 platforms. It wasn't until the early 2000s when they expanded the platform to allow more buses to stop at. Over the years, more platforms have been added across Rathburn road to allow even more buses to use the platform.
Platform A was renovated to a state of the art bus shelter which was retrofitted with a bench, a security camera, and heaters in an enclosed area in fall 2014 in preparation of the Mississauga Transitway.
Platform O was newly built and was opened in November 2014. The shelter design is similar to platform A except there are 3 shelters on that platform with only 1 shelter that has a bench and heater in it. The platform was exclusively built for route 109 Meadowvale Express heading north. It was designed so that it would be able to hold more passengers in that area waiting for the bus.
The terminal was temporary closed from April 11, 2016 to September 6, 2016 due to restoration work being done to the concrete infrastructure at the end of the terminal. During the construction, bus stops were relocated to Rathburn road as a result.
