1 High Point is a bus route operated by Milton Transit in Milton, ON.

Route Details

Route 1 serves Steeles Avenue East and the industrial areas along the Highway 401 corridor.

From Milton GO Station, buses operate east on Drew Centre, north on Thompson Road, west on Main Street, north on Ontario Street, west on Steeles Avenue, north on Martin Street, loop through RR25/401 Park & Ride, and north on Regional Road 25, looping via east on High Point Drive, south, west, and north on Parkhill Drive; then return via the reverse routing to Milton GO.

History

  • Fixed-route service along the corridor previously provided by route 1C until 2022.
  • January 2, 2024 - Route reintroduced, replacing On Demand service.

Service Summary

Route 1 operates 20 minute headways during peak hours, and 40 minute headways during midday. Buses used are conventional 40 foot with Arboc Arboc Spirit of Freedom cutaway buses occasionally used during peak service.
