Route 19 operated along the Hurontario Street corridor, providing north/south service across the city of Mississauga.

Timeline
- August 2, 2005 - Route changes as part of Hurontario corridor changes which include the introduction of route 202 and changes to route 25. Route 19 continues to operate between Port Credit GO Station and Shoppers World Terminal. Route 19A 'Hurontario-Britannia' is introduced, providing service on weekdays between Port Credit GO Station and Britannia Road, looping via Sandstone Drive, Avebury Road, Britannia Road, Kennedy Road, and Brunel Road. As part of the changes, the route begins to use 40 foot buses on weekdays rather than 60 foot buses which were used previously. Weekend service continues to use 60 foot buses.
- January 26, 2009 - Saturday midday frequency increased to 8 minutes from 9 minutes; Sunday frequency increased to 14 minutes from 18 minutes.
- May 19, 2009 - Route 19B 'Hurontario-Cantay' is introduced, providing weekday service to the industrial area around Britannia Road west of Hurontario Street, which was previously served by route 67.
- December 6, 2010 – Weekday midday frequency increased to 6 minutes from 7 minutes.
- May 16, 2011 - Route 19A begins to operate on Saturdays between Port Credit GO Station and Britannia Road. As a result, the frequency of the main route 19 branch to Shoppers World is reduced to 25 minutes on Saturday. The frequency of 8.5 minutes is maintained south of Britannia Road. The Saturday early morning deviation using Courtneypark Drive, Whittle Road and Edwards Boulevard is eliminated. Route 19A Saturday service is introduced, with 8.5 minutes service maintained south of Britannia Road and 25 minutes north of Britannia Road.
- September 6, 2011 - Route 19 is shortened to travel between Port Credit GO Station and Hurontario & 407 Park and Ride, no longer serving Shoppers World Terminal. Route 19C 'Hurontario-Heartland' is introduced as a Saturday only route, travelling between Port Credit GO Station and Heartland, looping using Matheson Boulevard, Venice Street, Rodeo Drive and Britannia Road.
- May 5, 2014 - Route 19 continues to travel between Port Credit GO Station and Hurontario & 407 Park and Ride, however 19A, 19B, and 19C are shortened to travel between Trillium Hospital and Britannia Road, no longer serving Port Credit GO Station. Route 19A Saturday service is cancelled and route 19C becomes the only supplementary service between Trillium Hospital and Britannia Road on Saturdays.
- April 28, 2019 - 24 hour service is introduced, operating Monday to Friday with 20 minutes frequency between 2:00am to 5:00am.
- April 27, 2020 - Route 19 is eliminated, being replaced by route 2 between Port Credit GO Station and City Centre Transit Terminal. Route 17 provides service on Hurontario Street north of City Centre Transit Terminal.
