Metropolitan Transportation Authority Flatbush Depot
Flatbush Depot (Depot Code: FB) is one of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's 30 depots. It provides the buses for numerous North/South Brooklyn corridor lines. The site of the depot has housed transit vehicles since 1902, beginning with streetcars, and later transitioning to buses in 1931. The current building is not the original one from 1902; rather, it opened on January 15th, 1950. The depot is operated by the New York City Transportation Authority.
