Southampton Street Garage is one of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's 9 depots. They house the entirety of Boston's articulated bus fleet, and thus all of the dual-mode (Diesel-trolleybus) and fully electric (non-trolleybus) buses. Southampton Street used to house CNG buses (Neoplan AN460LF CNG), but those were replaced by hybrid-electric vehicles instead (1250-1293). Southampton Street's buses primarily serve downtown Boston, though some do run into the immediate suburbs to the north and south.
