MTB Transit Solutions
MTB Transit Solutions (MTB) is a truck and bus repair and refurbishing company based in Milton, Ontario. MTB also leases and sells trucks and buses they have acquired secondhand from agencies and companies.
History
The company, originally known as Mississauga Truck & Bus, was established in the mid-1970s in Mississauga, Ontario.[1] In 2006, the company moved to their present facility on Lawson Road in Milton and became known as MTB Truck and Bus Collision. In spring 2011, the company was renamed as MTB Transit Solutions.

Glider
From 1997-2000, MTB offered a Glider, which involved using components from an Orion I with a new 35' Orion V body.
ZEV Clean Power
ZEV Clean Power is a bus refurbishment program offered by MTB since 2020. The program involves the conversion of an existing diesel-powered bus to a battery-electric, combined with a mid-life refurbishment to bring the vehicle to a like-new condition. ZEV Clean Power is expected to [2]
The first ZEV Clean Power conversion was performed on a retired Hamilton Street Railway D40LF, and was officially unveiled in July 2022 at the Ontario Transportation Expo. Milton Transit was announced as the first customer of a ZEV Clean Power vehicle,[3] with bus 1701 (a Nova Bus LFS) converted to electric and refurbished. The completed vehicle was unveiled at the end of March 2025 and shown off at the 2025 Ontario Transportation Expo the following month.
