The Luminator GTI® Matrix:MAX® was an electronic flip dot destination display created for use in transit vehicles under Gulton Industries in 1988. It featured a flexible matrix display, succeeding the GTI® MAX's more restrictive character-based signs.

It also included the GTI® Super Matrix:MAX®, introduced to parallel the GTI® SUPER MAX by featuring an additional sign component dedicated as a route display. However, unlike the SUPER MAX, the Super Matrix:MAX® only had a front sign model.

It also included the GTI® MEGA:MAX, which was a more flexible front display with a higher resolution.

The GTI® Matrix:MAX®'s was produced through at least 1997 and its direct successor was the MAX2000. It was likely discontinued in 1998 with the introduction of the MAX3000.
