Kingston Transit 1359-1360
Kingston Transit 1359-1360 are New Flyer Industries XD40 buses built in 2013. They were purchased as direct replacements for 0311-0312.
This series of buses received a minor update to the interior layout. Instead of two rows of forward facing double seats on the driver's side immediately behind the accessibility area, there is instead one additional side-facing seat and a single forward-facing seat. This reduced the number of seats by two to a total of 36. In addition, they are the first buses delivered with Luminator Titan destination signs.
Between May 2015 and December 2016, both units in this series were re-purposed as express buses due to a fleet shortage. During this time, they wore Kingston Express wraps. The delivery of 1683-1686 have allowed them to be converted back to local buses.
