Kingston Transit 1256-1258 are XD40 buses built in May 2012 by New Flyer Industries. They are exactly the same as the previous batch
Between May 2015 and December 2016, 1256 was re-purposed as an express bus due to a fleet shortage. During this time, it wore a Kingston Express wrap. The delivery of 1683-1686 have allowed it to be converted back to a local bus.
