King Long
King Long (also known as Golden Dragon) is a bus manufacturer established in 1988 and based in Xiamen, People's Republic of China. King Long designs buses for the transit, large coach, and medium coach markets in lengths of 4.5m to 18m. Since December 2008, King Long has manufactured over 140,000 units, taking up 20% of the Chinese market and has become a leader in the Chinese bus industry.[1]
Beginning in 2000, King Long entered the worldwide market, and in 2008, 3088 units have been sold outside of China. King Long has established itself in 55 different countries in five continents. In 2005, King Long entered into the western European market and have products certified in and exported to such countries as Britain, Bulgaria, Italy, Sweden, and Hun.[1]
