Kenosha Area Transit is the public transit system serving the city of Kenosha, WI.

History

  • In 1971, Pathfinder City Transit Lines is taken over by city and is renamed Kenosha Transit.
  • In 2000, a new downtown streetcar line is opened using restored streetcars purchased from Toronto.

Trivia

Kenosha was one of only two cities in North America to have had a fleet entirely comprised of trolley buses. The other was Halifax, NS.
