Hinton Transit

Hinton Transit is a public transit service operated by First Canada ULC serving Hinton, Alberta. The Hinton Transit System began service on June 6, 2007 and piloted until November 29, 2008 before becoming permanent on June 16, 2009. Cardinal Coach Lines was awarded the contract, which includes the 18-month trial period and an option for five more years if the pilot project is successful.

Service runs Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 8:00 pm and 8:00 am – 7:00 pm on Saturday. There is no service on Sundays or Statutory Holidays.

  • One-way cash fare: $3.00
  • Punch Card (12 trips): $30.00
  • Monthly Pass: $70.00
  • Seniors Pass (3 months): $50.00
  • Day Pass: $8.00
  • Children under 6 ride free
  • Handibus punch cards will be honored on the Transit System.
