Branch 34, from King and James, it travels westbound on King Street, then turns left on Queen Street where it travels southbound on Queen Street, up the Queen Street Hill/Beckett Drive/Garth Street to Denlow Drive. It turns right on Denlow Drive and continues west on Scenic Drive to Upper Paradise Road, where it turns left and continues southbound on Upper Paradise to Rymal Road. It turns right on Rymal and continues to Glancaster Road where it turns left into the Glancaster Loop.
Branch 34A, from King and James, it travels westbound on King Street, then turns left on Queen Street where it travels southbound on Queen Street, up the Queen Street Hill/Beckett Drive/Garth Street to Denlow Drive. It turns right on Denlow Drive and continues west on Scenic Drive to Upper Paradise Road, where it turns left and continues southbound on Upper Paradise to Stone Church Road. It turns right on Stone Church and heads west to Omni Boulevard, where it makes a quick trip north on Omni, then turns left on Upper Horning Road. It continues on Upper Horning to the Upper Horning Loop, essentially the end of the road where it was divided up due to the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.
Summer 2013 Detour
On June 3rd, 2013, The City of Hamilton closed the Queen Street Hill/Beckett Drive for repairs. This caused an immediate detour of 34 buses to head up/down the West 5th Hill. Throughout the first week of the detour, extra buses had to be dispatched due to the fact that many buses would show up downtown between 30 and 45 minutes down.
