Greater Bridgeport Transit, or gbt, provides public transit service to the city of Bridgeport, Connecticut and the cities/towns of Trumbull, Stratford, Fairfield, and Monroe.

History
- Established in December 21, 1998 as Greater Bridgeport Transit Authority by the City of Bridgeport and the Towns of Fairfield and Stratford after they withdrew from the Greater Bridgeport Transit District.[1]
- Around 2007, it was rebranded as Greater Bridgeport Transit.
